Assuming you survive, and many do,
you get to take home the glove you used,
the strap that held you in that seat for the whole second,
a still photograph of your success
and a video of you reaching cowboy status.

There's no skill in easy sailing
when the skies are clear and blue.
There's no joy in merely doing
Things that anyone can do.

But there is great satisfaction,
That is mighty sweet to take
When you reach a destination
That you said you couldn't make.
